He doesn't bother anyone. Hairy tries to ignore the world, but he constantly gets dragged back into it. This is a comic I think many people can relate to. The comic tells the truth in a fantasy way. There are people that mind their own business and other folks try to give them a hard time. They do not look for trouble, but somehow trouble seems to find them.
